     Once upon a time two women met and learned they both had a love of yarn, fibers and creativity. They became fast friends and over the years they have shared and enabled one another to knit, spin, stitch, weave and dreamed of a yarn store in their hometown. This year the opportunity to have a yarn shop came along and now the dream is a reality and Hometown Yarns and More was born. 

     Dee and Stacy have been crafty whether it was cross stitch or spinning their own yarns they always have a project or ten going at any time. With a passion for hand work and now the space to open the shop they are excited to bring a small town yarn shop to Nowata County.

     In June they made a road trip to Illinois for Market and got to see all the newest trends in the crafting world. They are proud to bring some of  the newest yarns, threads and tools for just about any project from Lace to Bulky along with spinning fibers and some embroidery and punchneedle. We will soon have everything for hand hooked rugs, a fun project if you haven't ever tried it.

     Beginning this fall they will be offering various classes as well. Don't be shy if there is something you want to learn they love sharing their love of crafting.
